Safety at the Festival is a top priority. All accidents are preventable. FOl vendors are responsible for their own and attendees safety. All injuries or accidents must be reported directly to the FOl leadership ? Facility Setup team or Front desk (Prasad Nallapaneni, Adish Jain, Sanjay Thirunagari, Ram Pai).
All FOl vendors must check in with the booth in-charge (Mr. Ram Pai) upon arrival.
Remember that you as a FOl vendor are an ambassador of the Indian community.
Besides proudly wearing your ethnic clothes, wear a smile.
Offer the Guests help to the extent you can. Be friendly. Treat visitors as if they were Guests in your home. If you see someone who needs help, assist them, or direct them to the Information Booth.
Take ownership of your work area by keeping it orderly and clean.
Wear your nametag so the visiting Guests can identify you as a vendor.
Our goal is for the Guests to have a memorable time at the Festival so they keep coming back year after year.
Encourage Guests to fill in a survey form (available at the Information booth) and put forth their ideas for improvement.
Communicate your experience about participation to the undersigned for archiving for the next year.
If you have complaints, issues and/or questions, please take it up privately with that person. Loud complaints in front of patrons about the festival or its staff do not solve the issue, nor does it enhance the reputation of the festival as a professional and family friendly environment.
The success of FOl depends on all of us.
Your contract with FOI governs. Nothing stated in this guideline negates or over-rides your contract.
